Whats the cheapest and the safest way to get to GRU international airport?

Hello I was wondering what is the safest and cheapest and quickest way to get to GRU international airport on June19, 2008 I need to get from Copacabana to GRU by 11:00 am any suggestions if by air give me name of airline and price and time of departure on the date I posted above thanks?

You'll have to get up early, but I think your best bet is to fly from Rio de Janiero International (GIG) to Sao Paulo Guarulhos (GRU).

The only non-stop flight I found before noon was TAM JJ8082 which departs at 6:15 am and arrives 7:35 am.  

You can get a special promo fare for this one-way flight if you buy it directly from TAM for the equivalent of about $86 USD.

Check with Tam, Varig etc. for departure times from Santos Dumont airport.  It's located very close to Copacabana, and used to offer hourly shuttles to GRU.  Not sure if they still do, but I believe so.
