  1. Take the shuttle and make sure you buy round trip tickets so your ride back to the airport's set.  The MGM is usually the very first stop for shuttle buses going to the Strip because its the closest to the airport.  Many people have a hang up with the shuttle making so many stops before it gets to their hotel.  But since the MGM will be first that should not be a problem.

  2. CAT bus - $7.50 for 3, 24 hour passes

To catch the CAT bus from McCarran, go to "Ground Level Transportation 0" . There are 3 CAT bus routes that stop at McCarran you could take any of the three and get to the MGM with one transfer. If you take the #108 Paradise & or #109 Maryland Pkwy N bus, transfer to the #201 W Tropicana, it will stop near the MGM. If you take the #109 Maryland Pkwy S bus out to the SSTT, transfer to the Deuce, it will take you to the MGM also.

You can only take the bus if you travel light(carry on bags only) - The main reason we favor the bus is, they stop about every 5 minutes - You would be very-very lucky to wait less than 1/2 hour to get a taxi - If you arrive at a busy time the wait for a cab can be an hour or two.

A shuttle would cost the three of you $15-$18

IMO this is the worst option!!

A taxi would cost you around $11.66

  3. if you already have a room booked, just go to the cortesy phones, they are usually all in one place with all the hotels or casinos, just pick up the phone for mgm, and they will come and pick u up for free, I'm pretty sure, ck it out.

  4. Either walk - not far from the airport or check if the hotel has a free shuttle service.

  5. The cheapest is public bus themost sensible is Taxi which unless you are unlucky with traffic will be less than $15. Shuttle would be about $6 EW so taxi shoudl be cheaper. Check in at the airport will wsave you time.

  6. No question its a cab..

It will be about 15$ ( since mgm is close) with tip. So thats about 5$ each.

I am not 100% sure how much mgm grand shuttle is, but it is more then 5$ a person and a longer wait. Not worth it.

  7. Walk, but you don't want to do that. It will take for ever and exhaust you The second cheapest is the bus from the Airport down the strip. But you don't want to do that. It will take for ever. I suggest a shuttle service. They are just outside the baggage claim and the prices are reasonable. This will get you there in a reasonable time and comfortable. The price is half  to one third that of a cab.

  8. MGM doesn't have a shuttle to the airport.  There are independent shuttles that run $6-10 a person, each way.  The only problem is that they make several stops, and you may not be the first one.  So it can take a while to get to your hotel.

A cab will be about $15 to MGM, because it's a close and easy drive from the airport.  There is usually a long line for cabs, but it moves quickly.  We've always started out at the very back of the line, just outside the airport doors, and it looks quite intimidating.  But we've never waited more than 20minutes, tops.

  9. A cab or shuttle.  MGM Grand should have a direct shuttle, and all you due is tip the driver.

  10. Taxi .. about $20.00.
