Whats the cheapest hotel to stay at near Universal Studios in Orlando?

I'm planning a trip but I don't want to spend more than $100 for a room

Rates can vary tremendously based on when you want to stay -- so keep that in mind (or let us know when you are looking to go).

I did a quote for next weekend, and the cheapest & closest was the Days Inn Universal Maingate -- $47.00 per night for a 2 double-bed room.

There are actually lots of places within a mile that are under $100/night, so choose carefully (be sure to check reviews @ tripadvisor.com).

You can do a quote and sort the results based on distance from Universal.  Head over to http://www.resideo.com/us/florida/orland... and click the "enter your travel dates" link.  Choose your dates, submit the form, then select "Universal Orlando Resort" from the distance dropdown -- that'll sort the list, putting the closest places first (and showing you the actual distance).

I stayed at Quality Inn Plaza, it's only 10 minutes away from Universal Orlando Resort and it is very good value for money. It adds to the magic of Orlando. Enjoy your trip!

Their is a holiday inn Literally right at Universal Studios thats pretty nice, and i dont think it was that expensive, You didnt say how long you would be staying.
