  1. Honestly I've had the best luck with the simple old school tape adapter. I had a rather expensive Belkin FM adapter, but it sucked. Every time I went under a stoplight the station the adapter used to play my iPod got all fuzzy. Then it just fell apart one day.

  2. Buy the tape adapter thingy at walmart.  it's in the ipod accessories section.  You just put it in the tape player in your car, then plug your ipod in, and there you have it!!  and it's only like ten bucks.  (its what i use)

by the way, those devises that transmit your music through the radio are crummy.  sometimes it's staticy.  the tape adapter way is ALWAYS crystal clear, and it saves you a bunch of money

  3. You should search amazon.com. I have bought many plugs there for very very very cheap. And they are great quality. I've had great success with dvi, hdmi, and other plugs as well. The prices are great, especially if you get the ones that are "used, but new condition" they are basically refurbed and repackaged.

  4. Radio Shack and others sell a simple $30 device that you plug into your portable music player that allows you to listen to it on a station of the car's radio. All your device needs is a headphone jack and all your car needs is a functioning radio.

Some people don't like the audio quality (sometimes a bit staticy) but it's cheap.
