Whats the closest surfing(good) spot to atlanta?

i just moved to atlanta ga, and im learning how to surf...wanted to know wheres the closest spot(an ok spot not)(not like tybee island)...ill buy a wetsuit so cold water is no problem.

Jaime already gave you the answer. You won't need a wetsuit until the end of October. Stop in McKevlin's or their arch rival, Ocean Surf Shop, they both have good surfers there who can get you outfitted, and get you LESSONS.
