Whats the coolest thing you've ever cooked??

Okay, so yesterday, not only did we make a plate of scrambled eggs, but we also baked some cupcakes. Considering we can't even make toast without burning it, this is a huge acheivment for us!!!

So we were wondering, what have you ever cooked that you are really proud of???

  1. Thai soup with rice noodles.  It is a really complicated recipe and you have to make a paste too, it turns out great, altho its time consuming,  i'm so proud of it but i won't share because its soooo tasty!

    thing Im most proud of.........

    a curry for 40 people (well 4 different curries[1 fish, 1 chicken, 1 beef & 1 veggie], lots of side dishes)

    most scary thing Ive done trying to do an equivalent of the TV show where people bring all manner of ingredients (each person brings 2 items) and try to create something edible out of it.. sometimes y'just have to bin it and do something from the cupboards

  7. I make pancakes with ice cream and fresh fruit.  Gorgeous.

    My other specialality is egg omelote with bacon, burger, with grated cheese over the omelote with brown sauce.  

    Timing is the essence to get everything cooked all together so it doesn't go cold.

  8. I made a mango, blackberry and lime bombe (a frozen dessert) - it looked magnificent and tasted supreme.  It was well worth getting up at 2am to stir ;-)

    ppl actuali ate it teehee i was walking in a winter wonderland

    also Gumbo with lots of shrimp and sausage in it

  13. A 4 course Thanksgiving dinner for 18...complete with 4 kinds of home-made pie for dessert. Took two days to prepare.
