The Darwin award is given to those who contribute to the Charles Darwin evolution theory of survival of the fittest. They do this by proving the dumb ones are the ones that do the silly, the stupid and the outright dangerous things, a la jackass type things, but with a twist of fate for good measure. By removing them selves from the land of the living, they are increasing therate of evolution for the remainder.
