and try to look up deadly in the dictionary, before you choose, things like grizzly bears aren't very deadly, because on average, they only kill a little everyday, so thats deadlier than us, but not much, and mosquitos dont kill anything on average, were talking about the whole species, not just one specific mosquito. so look it up, and tell me whats the deadliest animal on the planet.

If you went by animal most likely to kill a person, it would probably be an Bengal tiger.  Mosquitoes as a species kill more, but there are obviously more mosquitoes than tigers.

If you're referring to what species of animal "eats" the most other animals on a regular basis, which Whales do not, because they only feed now and then, and at times can go 6 months without food,  then it would be insectivorous BATS.  These bats, worldwide, eat "TONS" of insects each and every night.  Yes, tons.  Can you imagine just how many insects that is?  Think about it.  With the use of their echolocation, they capture and feed on Mosquitoes, Gnats, Flies, Moths, Crickets, Beetles, etc, etc, etc.  We could not survive without bats.  They help to keep our planet healthy and strong.  Mankind needs to learn to appreciate them more, and realize the benefits of leaving them alone and unmolested.

It depends on your definition of deadly ....total #s or probability of death if attacked.....mosquito for #s   the green mamba for certain death.  In Viet Nam we called it the bamboo viper or 3 step because they primarily inhabit bamboo groves and 3 step because if bitten you wouldnt last 3 steps......saw it in action on one occasion nothing we could do....the good thing is they are small about 3-5 inches and do not have very long fangs or a quick strike .  Just my opinion thanks John

I don't know if it's the deadliest animal on the planet, but hippos kill more people on safari than any other animal.  Their jaws are so powerful they can literally snap a person in half.
