My 4 year old loves to eat the whole lemons, peel and all. I hear you shouldn't caus e it's not good for you, and I've heard you pick up alot of vitamins that way. Does anyone know the nurtritinal value of a lemon or why or why not to allow? I have no problem with it as long as he likes it, but if it's bad for him, forget that noise! Thanks for any help!

Lemon is really healthy for you its good for gingivitis its high in vitamin c which can strengthen your immune system so when you get a cold you will get close to no symptom so it won't be as bad as if your immune system is weak. There are many more benefits i had this book which shows you the medicinal use of lemon and how its good for our bodies. i will try to update this if i can find the book or any other sources. In the time being why don't you munch on more lemons its good for you.
