  1. This will only affect you if you're not currently receiving your tv from cable or satellite.

    The broadcast signal will change from analog to digital. No, you don't need a HDTV, but you will need a digital tuner. Most new tv will already have a digital tuner built in. Old tv without digital tuner will need a converter box.

    The only TVs that will be affected are those that get their signal over the air with an antenna. It will only affect the older analog TV sets. The newer digital tuner sets will work over the air.

    If you use satellite or cable you will have no problem even if you have an analog TV.

  4. Yes. On February 17, 2009 we all have to change our tvs into something. Or buy a new one. Or buy a reciver or w/e its called. Hope this helped
