I went to a dealership and the salesguy toold me that he could give me this 2003 Grand Prix Gt with 96k miles for abot $3500. The car itself is decent, What is a good deal for this kind of a car? sounds like a steal to me for the year of the car. any opinions on grand prix overall. Im only going to need a car for summer breaks and holiday breaks when i come home from college for the next 2 years so it wont be a daily driver during the year. Any opinions? Help!!

  1. Check Kelly's Blue Book online for used and new vehicle prices http://www.kbb.com/kbb/default.aspx?trid...

    That should help.

  2. Call and find a repair shop that can do an inspection on it for a reasonable price.  Should be able to get  an honesst opinion for about $25-40...well worth the $$ !! Ask them to do a carfax for you at the dealer.

  3. too many miles for an 03

    unreliable car.

    for $4,000

    look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

  4. I've own 2 Pontiac's as long as there kept up they run pretty good 96k miles is a lot of miles for a 2003 that means the person was doing alot of traveling  and that could mean alot of wear and tear early see if he will let you test drive it and if you have any friends or family members take it to them to see if i's worth it but it still sounds like a good deal if you do get it make sure you get your warrenty and the first week you get it put it on a dialosis machine get a read out and make sure they get everything done in th appropriate time lenth of your warrenty good luck!

  5. dude 96k miles? hmmm lets do some math 96,000 divided by 5(years old the car is) 19200 miles a year. did they tell you it's a high milage car? what are the options? is it a bare bones car or is it fully loaded?   price wise what there asking for is below kbb price for the car. the kbb  says 4400-5600 usd. there ya go. what else is wrong with the car.  that is for a bare bones car depending on it's condition.

  6. pretty decent sale price. ask if there is anything wrong with the car such as the engine suspension or any mechanicaly. test drive it before buying to make sure everything works. also ask if the car is flooded or not. seems like a good deal. offer $3850 OTD(includes price of car, tax, title, tag, everything)
