ok, im getting a little confused.

Do corporations give out tickets to events to keep their workers happy or what?

Some companies offer event tickets to employees as part of their compensations packages rather than giving money or days off.

Other companies do not offer this type of perk at all.

It depends upon the individual makeup of the company and the aims of the management in question.
