Whats the diference between USA and Islamic Countries that also use death penalty?

I hard that Sharia law says if the victim forgive the accused the death punishment is off another alternative is paying, this doesn't happen here because isn't allowed in the law our death penalty is even too strict

In Islamic countries the death penalty is swift, certain, and harsh. A great deterrent.

In the U.S. the appeals drag on for years and the person on death row could even get a stay of execution. Not a good deterrent.

Sharia law does give the family f the victim the right to commute the sentence of the condemned person and mercy is urged by Islam's doctrine.

Sometimes blood money will also be used to change their mind, and this is allowed.

In the US, the state usurps all the privileges of the victim's family.

US goes through proceedings. IN US it happens far less often than needed. There is only one Capital Punishment for every 200 murders. US does not give CApital Punishment for 'Adultery'.
