  1. Basically monkeys have tails and a chimpanzee is an ape, which don't have tails.

  2. monkeys r less intelligent than apes, ( ie ) they don't use the tools like chimps, chimps use it mostly.

monkeys hava tail, they r considered to be evolving into chimps by some zoologists,

but the chimps r movin to apes their next stop in evolution.

monkeys don't use sign language but chimps do.

  3. Monkeys vs. chimps

Though both chimpanzees and monkeys are primates, monkeys are much lower on the evolutional totem pole.

The main obvious difference between the two is that monkeys have tails; chimps do not. Monkees are structurally closer to four-legged animals like cats and dogs, while chimpanzees and other apes are more similar to human beings, both structurally and in terms of their level of intelligence and behavior. Apes have been observed to operate within a social structure and have even been taught to use sign language and to type.

  4. A chimp has no tail and is in the ape family.

The other is our beloved President. (is that allowed? if not ... I claim ignorance)

  5. What spirit said.
