  1. scientific fact is a truth supported by evidence (data) but may not apply necessarily to a broad range of subjects.

    Fact: A human heart pumps blood through the body.  Simple

    an Hypothesis is a prediction that on outcome will happen after experimentation.  It's what the scientists think will occur.  An educated guess.

    A law a truth about nature that can never under any circumstances (that we know of at the present) be violated, or changed in anyway and can be proven over all cases.

    Force will always equal mass times acceleration

    A theory is an explanation that is supported by evidence but cannot be proven to be true all the time over all situations and times (or it would be a law).  The Big Bang Theory is the most likely and probably correct explanation for the formation of the universe but we can't go back in time and see what really happened ergo it cannot be proved.
