20 watts essentially, ie, it can go a bit louder.  to be honest for the price of a MG50DFX you could probably get a decent small tube amp (tube = better than solid state, like mg series).  I have a MG15DFX and I've never turned it up to max because my family's heads would spontaneously explode, so spending the extra bucks on going even louder - if you're not going to gig, is a bit silly.  hope that helps.

20 watts, which is about a 5% increase in volume.  wattage is exponentially related to volume.  i'd look at the vox ad30 or ad50 for the same prices, but they sound better.
