The difference is the official 7 star one doesn't exist yet (some are under construction).

I have never heard of a 7 star hotel. But I do know the more stars the better in quality it is.

2 lies.   According to the history, there shouldn't be anything higher than a 5 star hotel (ratings only go up to 5 star) and very few of those.
