  1. They wear tan berets.

  2. They are sent out on special missions compared to regular infantry men.

They go through tougher training.   Most Special Ops are sent ahead of a regular unit.

  3. Rangers are have the ability to rapidly deploy to anywhere in the world and have the ability to be mostly self sufficient in conducting both conventional and unconventional missions. They're also trained more specifically to accomindate unique missions that face special operations community and have more training in conducting joint operations.

  4. Rangers are an elite self supported light infantry unit with the ability to hit a target from land, air, and if necessary by sea. The training cycle in 75th never ends and the indoctrination and RFS always makes sure you only retain the highest quality individuals. 75th doesn't conduct presence patrols or anything like a typical infantry unit. Due to OPSEC lot's of teams etc. within 75th can't be discussed in a public forum. But their training, experience, and technology definitly seperate them from a conventional unit. Every individual has more training than your average soldier.
