  1. So,a few of things you are supposed to think.I have had good experience here.......http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  2. Comprehensive coverage protects you against things such as theft, vandalism, weather damage and if you hit wildlife like a deer while driving, basically things that you cannot control.

    Best of luck to you.

  3. Technically, there is no such thing as "Full Coverage." When you include both comprehensive and collision together, that is usually what is generally given when "Full Coverage" is requested for.

Comprehensive - Is known as "Other than Collision"; therefore, anything outside of you colliding into an object will be covered under this protection. i.e. Vandalism, Theft, Fire, Earthquake, Rock hits a Windshield, etc.

Collision - Pretty self explanatory, you collide into an object, this will help repair the damage.

Comprehensive is always a less premium amount than Collision. Therefore, in my opinion, it is always best to keep your Comp deductible as low as possible. $100 if possible. Not all carriers permit that low of deductibles.

Not many carriers anymore allow for you to have one and not the other. Generally, they are combined together to collect more premium from the policy.

Comprehensive should always be on a policy in most all cases. Collision I feel can be around a $500 deductible or so, since you are paying this out of your pocket, if you physically caused that accident and/or a hit & run. Usually, lowering that to a $250 deductible per say, will make a pretty good amount of a difference on premiums, and might not be wise.

Hope this helps. Of course, depending on your budget, value and age of vehicle can also factor in on your decision upon this.
