  1. The Section of Angiography and Interventional Radiology provides a complete range of both vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.

    The section has three angiographic suites. Conventional fluoroscopy and digital subtraction angiography are available.

    In addition to routine angiography and venography, the following specialized procedures are performed:

    Balloon angioplasty and placement of intravascular stents

    Chemoembolization and placement of intra-arterial chemotherapy infusion catheters

    Embolization of vascular malformation, tumor, or actively bleeding vessels

    TIPS procedure

    Ureteral/biliary dilatation and stenting

    We perform the majority of central venous access cases including chest ports, and have vast experience in the management of hemodialysis access.

    CT and ultrasound-assisted procedures--such as abscess drainages--also are performed by this section.
