  1. I think that the Riveria Maya is the general area that includes Playa and Xcaret and all the other places down the coast in Mexico.


  2. Playa del Carmen is just one town in the Riveria Maya.  Other towns are:

    Isla Holbox

    Cancun

    Puerto Morelos

    Akumal

    Playa del Carmen

    Cozumel

    Playacar

    Puerto Aventuras

    Soliman Bay & Tankah Bay

    Tulum

    Mahahual

    Xcalak
