  1. It's very simple. Telekinesis is being able to

MOVE an object with your mind, and Psychokinesis is being able to MINIPULATE objects with your mind, like spoon bending.

  2. Nada

  3. PK is the new version of TK.  The believers updated it because psychokinesis sounds so much more sciency.

  4. I don't think there's any difference. I think they just changed the name. You'll probably read somewhere.."Telekinesis...now called Psychokenisis"..or "also called" or "sometimes called" ...

    Like here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychokines...

  5. No difference except for the name.

  6. Telekinesis is the ability to move things or otherwise affect the  property of things with the power of the mind.  Psychokinesis sometimes referred to as telekinesis or mind over matter is the ability to move things or otherwise affect the property of things with the power of the mind of psychic abilities.

  7. They are self explanatory.

    "tele"kinesis, is short for " Total,Elementary Lie,& Exeration"

While 'Psycho'kinesis, means. This nut really believes this, leave quietly but quickly.

Actually i am on the edge , not believing for sure.

LOL guess I am the nut.

  8. psychoinesis is sometimes referred to as telekinesis or mind over matter - is the ability to move things or otherwise affect the property of things with the power of the mind. Of psychic abilities, true psychokinesis is one of the rarest. Few have been able to demonstrate this ability, and even those demonstrations are highly contested by the skeptics.

  9. Nothing, they mean the same thing. Nowadays people that study telekinesis prefer to call it psychokinesis. The psycho- prefix makes it sound more scientific. But if you're talking about telepathic ability, changing to the psycho- prefix would then make it psychopathic, which is bad. So telepaths are still telepaths to avoid being psychopaths while telekinetics are now psychokinetics. Simple enough.

  10. Telekinesis is defined as the ability to move objects without contact or physical means (see link below).

    "PSYCHOKINESIS

Paranormal action; term coined by Henry Holt and adopted by J. B. Rhine to refer to the direct influence of mind on a physical system that cannot be entirely accounted for by the mediation of any known physical energy."

    (link below)

The difference is one does not offer an explanation for the movement of objects (telekinesis) where psychokinesis (direct influence of mind) does offer such an explanation.

The even more current term is mind-matter interaction.

    Psi

  11. Telekinesis is now called Psychokinesis in pseudo scientific research literature. Here are some excellent examples.
