  1. the difference is pay more $$$ & more advance option given to choose.


  2. XP Home sucks a lot.

    XP Pro allows you to connect to corporate networks (domains) and in my experience is 1000% more stable than XP Home

  3. Nothing that a Home user cares about. Pro has more networking capabilities, a built-in IIS server, support for two physical processors (as opposed to dual-core processors).  

  4. why don't jest buy or build a windows vista computer with a lot of memory then install virtual pc and install both windows xp pro and home on that. FYI I thank windows xp pro is better than home.


  5. XP home supports one processor, and XP Pro supports two processors, remote desktop, and integrated fax support

  7. Lots, there is no way to add users through MMC (Microsoft Management Console) You cant join it to a domain or turn of simple file sharing.  Basically its less configurable, and makes you do everything through wizards.
