  1. ok the gold subscription means you can download stuff before others talk to friends, message people, play head to head, play co-op, and much much more.

When your gold runs out it will downgrade to silver which is the same except you cant play against friends, however i am led to believe you can play some co-op with i.e in halo campaign but this does need confirming.

  2. Silver means you can connect to xbox live to get updates, downloads, and such and it is free. Gold is $50 a year and has all the capabilities of silver, but you can also play online with friends.

  3. Gold lets you play games online like Halo 3 and Call Of Duty 4.

You can also download game demos earlier than all other people (like The Force Unleashed) with silver membership.

  4. nothing after your month is up you should by a new one

  5. Gold is just normal xbox live

silver is you dont pay but you can talk to freinds and download but cant actually play online

aftemr your month finishes you got to subscribe to a 1 month 3 month

    or 12 month membership card><
