  1. A .45 gap has a shorter casing, smaller primer, and originally only had a maximum grain weight of 200 unlike the acp's 230. The GAP operates at higher pressure to be on par with .45acp ballistics. It's also offered in flat nose which the .45 acp isn't

    And if your thinking of using .45GAP in a .45acp chambered gun don't. It will most lilkey explode. And a .45acp couldn't fit in a .45GAP chamber anyway, it's too long.
