  1. Hotel - the comfy, sometimes pricy places to stay the night, sometimes you can stay a week.

Motel - you are desperate and go for what's available

Vacancy - There is room in the hotel or motel or inn... they are not booked... they have vacant rooms.

Comet - An icy asteroid plumeting toward the sun in a highly elliptical orbit. As it nears the sun the ice breaks off and forms a blue and white tail behind it.

Meteor - A large piece of rock that falls into the earths atmosphere. Also known as a "shooting star" as it streaks light across the night sky.

Asteroid - Rocks in space that orbit the sun. There is a lot of them in common orbits between mars and Jupiter, this is known as the Asteroid belt.

  2. Well, from my viewpoint, I think a motel is a hotel, but it is cheaper and offers less services.Motels are generally used by people who haven't booked in, which means if they're traveling somewhere but can't make it through the night, they'd use a motel.Hotels are for people liek tourists, who have already reached their destnation and will stay there for a couple of days.A vacancy? I think that means a place or action that you can go to/do it without other people or objects interfering.

A comet is a large body of ice and rock that orbits around the sun usually in an oval shape.A meteor is a large body of rock, usually made form iron, that is pulled by the gravitational force from a planet and will impact that planet. An asteroid is just a body of rock that floats through space, such as the asteroid belt, a large collection of asteroids.
