  1. Lattes have more milk. Cappuccinos are mostly foam. I think lattes are better.

  2. Latte's contain more hot milk than a Cappuccino does. Latte's aren't as strong

  3. A Latte is very similar to a cappuccino; the difference being that a spoon is used to separate the layers of foam and steamed milk in a latte, while the milk in a cappuccino is free-poured (lattes also typically have a far lower amount of foam).

    HOPE THIS HELPS!

  4. a latte is frothed milk and a shot of espresso but there is only 1 cm of froth and it does not come above the rim of the glass. a capuccino is frothed milk with shot of coffee but this also has 1 cm of froth below and also above the rim of the glass. and dusted with chocolate. hope i explained it well. if u still have trouble understanding maybe go to a coffee shop and watch them make the coffees. =)

  5. At most cafes, lattes and cappuccinos will have the same amount of shots of espresso. So a 12oz latte will have 2 shots, and a cap will have the same. A latte usually has about a half inch to an inch of foam on top. A cap, depending on how much foam you like, or how "dry" you like it can be the shots of espresso topped entirely with foam (very dry) to just a little foam, which is a "wet cappuccino." At places like Starbucks, a Cappuccino is normally made with half steamed milk, and half foam.

Hope this helps! Oh, and a good very dry Cappuccino is delicious!

  6. "In this country, cappuccino is a serving of espresso (about 2 ounces) with essentially similar amounts of milk and a rather stiff milk foam. Caffè latte is a serving of espresso with about three times as much milk, topped with a short head of foam. So a latte is milder and has a milkier taste
