  1. A fundamentalist wants to establish law based completely on their religious beliefs.  See Muslim fundamentalists in Arab countries.

Conservatives want to follow the Constitution.  The First Amendment states the government shall not establish a national religion nor prohibit the free exercise thereof.  This means if you want to be a Muslim, Catholic, etc you can be, but the government will not force you to be.

  2. A true conservative respects the views of other people, and does desire larger government to enforce their views on other people.

They are educated enough to realize the dangers of mixing religion and politics and the value of setting the example themselves. A real conservative was taught manners by parents or grandparents, and don't cry about them being political correctness.

At least that is the view of ever conservative I highly respected.

fundies want the government to enforce their views, and society to be morally policed. They want to turn back the clock, a largely reactionary view, to mix politics and government to enforce their views on the entire nation.

  3. Conservatives stand in the way of the fundamentalists. We protect Libs

  4. Living in the south sometimes it is hard to tell the difference as a majority of the people seem to be both down here.  They both like to shove their viewpoints down other people's throats.  And they both like to knock on your door at 9am on your day off from work.  Here there is such a blur between religion and politics that I sometimes wondered whatever happened to separation of church and state.

  5. Not sure but I do know there is no difference between a liberal and a communist.

  6. A conservative says he is pro life a fundamentalist actually believes he is pro life.

  7. Conservative can be either a religious or political term (for example, Conservative Judaism has nothing to do with politics).  Fundamentalist is ONLY a religious term and not all fundamentalists are politically conservative.

  8. The question should have been CONSERVATIVE --WHAT?

    and FUNDAMENTALIST --WHAT?

OR the liberal left Socialist/Communists (soc/com).

All soc/coms want to preserve, conserve their "FUNDAMENTALIST"

soc/com right to murder millions of citizens of their own nations as they have done in the past century.

Only one year ago, the USA put up a memorial In Wash D.C. to remember the soc/com victims.

    Check out www.victimsofcommunism.org

Lets bring the old ideas of Americanism  back and keep the USA free and independent.

The future of our progeny depends on our action NOW.
