  1. cream is thicker, lotion is thinner.

but i would use lotion on dry skin!

  2. A cream is thick (and creamy) and a lotion is runny in consistency, and would soak in quicker..

  3. I am not 100% sure on this. But I think a lotion tends to lock in moisture. For example baby lotion is applied after a shower or bath on wet / damp skin.

Cream, I believe adds moisture...hence you get moisturising cream.

My daughter as eczema and we have to apply moisturising cream to her skin as well as the eczema cream. But she as a lotion she has rubbed unto her skin after she as had a bath or shower.

The cream tends to be thick..almost a semi solid, while the lotion is more liquid.

  4. cream is thick and works better for dry skin, lotion is not as good and used for hands, use cream for dry skin, especially beeswax cream, best kind

    hope i helped
