  1. A debit card is a card that you can retrieve funds directly from your bank account. You can use your debit card pretty much anywhere but just be careful you only spend what you have in your bank account as to not go into overdraft or have any NSF fees.

A prepaid debit card has a set amount and can also be used almost anywhere. You can only use the amount that is on the card. So if you have a $20 prepaid card you can only spend $20.

  2. A pre-paid debt card is like a gift card that you can use at any store or shop that accepts Debt Cards. Usually people give prepaid cards as gifts.

While a Debt Card is a credit card and comes out of your bank account.
