  1. The Driver will have a longer shaft, is less lofted and will give you 10-20 yards more distance.

  2. the degree of loft on the face of the club

  3. the degree of loft.

with a 2 wood it will go a ittle bit highes but will fall a little closer to you, more parabola (not much)

  4. The driver has a straighter face than a 2 wood which was once named " Brassie ". This was the distance wood for fairway use. The spoon of 3 wood was for shorter fairway shots from non watered fairways to " sometimes " watered greens requiring a higher shot.

  5. a driver is your longer club.  a 2 wood is used in the fairway and doesnt go as long as a driver

  6. Driver has a longer shaft, and is hit off the tee, it goes longer than the 2 wood.

The 2 wood can also be known has a mini driver, and maywell be hit of the tee but wont go as long. Golfers use woods off the tee to play for position in the fairway.

The 2wood can be played off the fairway on long second shots.

  7. when i played golf - like once - I found that the driver sends the ball onto a fairway on a different hole and a 2 wood sends it into trees. Hope that helps

  8. Loft and shaft length are the main differences, but head shape is as well.  The average Driver is 10 degree loft and 45 inch shaft.  A 2 Wood is 12-13 Degree loft and 42-43 inch shaft.

You can get a driver in up to 13 degree loft and with shorter shaft if you want.  The actual 2 Wood will have a smaller head than a driver though (IE: it will look like a fairway wood).

  9. the average driver is 10.5 the average 2 wood could be twelve thirteen degree loft and a half inch shorter

  10. different distances, and weight i suppose

  11. A driver has less loft than a 2 wood and the face of the club will be a lot smaller.  Believe it or not, the 2 wood is often more difficult to hit than the driver because the size of the club face is so much smaller that you can't get a good hit on it.  Plus, you tee it up lower, thus harder to get in the air.

  12. 2 wood is not as think and i recommend a 7 wood their way easier to hit
