  1. The shape of the board. Freestyle has curved end at both ends of the board. The other has one curved in

  2. There are two different types of freestyle board, Jib (park) boards and all mountain freestyle boards. All jib boards are twin tiped ie the nose and tail of the board is the same shape these type of boards are soft flexing and very forgiving to ride great for riding switch, spinning, rails etc, but are not great at high speeds.

All mountain freestyle boards are stiffer than a jib board they tend to have a directional shape but some are twin tipped. They can be used for all types of riding but are more flexaxble and lightweight than a regular all mountain board. If you are into backcountry freestyle, riding large kickers or pipe riding you would be better off with an all mountain freestyle board.

  3. the rider

  4. what twister said but id prolly go with an all mountain board

only really experienced riders can realy tell the diff
