Whats the difference between a gold sucking loach and a Chinese algae eater

do gold sucking loaches get aggressive

Not much difference except color.  They all get aggressive as they get bigger.  Algae no longer interests them and they will attack fish if they can get them.  They get really big, 12" and can do a lot of damage to fish and your decor.
