  1. *in my opinion* ill say advanced user. on the insturction manuel on the first page, read the "Important note". It says "please do NOT install The sims 2 **** in the same location where you installed The sims 2. If you do, The sims 2 **** files will overwrite the sims 2 files., and neither games will work properly!".So heres what i do: I go to my computer, local disk, prog. files. (this where the orginal EA games for the sims 2 base game is located) Then i make sepearate "EA games" file. (Iike EA games 2 for the university, EA games 3 for the open for buissnes, etc...) Im not really sure what they are talking about, installing the the sims 2 expansion packs folders in the sims 2 folder, or something else. You can use the typical user, but it will not make a separate folders and put them in. well That was my opinion. You may use the typical user if you dont understand this or w/e.

  2. advance user is better

  3. Advanced user lets you pivk where to install the game.I wouldn't choose this option, because you may install to a different drive.

Typical User installs it to the pre-destined space on your computer.
