Whats the difference between aftershave and aftershave splash?

Items from different manufacturers may vary, so first read the packaging It will tell the product usage or directions. Now the rest is simply opinions. aftershave & splashes generally are not quite as strong as a cologne, therefore they can be used more liberally (that is, more quantity at one time). In my opinion my aftershave is stronger than my splash, So I run my hands under the water and apply the afershave with a wet hand. The whole idea of the aftershave is to cleanse/disinfect the freshly shaven face's scratches or cuts left by the razor blade (thus the alchohol content...)
