  1. Aussie football is not rugby, similar but yet different, however I am not sure of all the rules

  2. With aussie football we're allowed to hand ball kick and mark the ball we also use an oval shaped ball we have four posts the 2 in the middle are known as the goal post which is six points and the outer posts are known as points which you get 1 point when kicked through there if the ball is touched before going through as a goal the goal then changes to a point we are also allowed to tackle the players...

    whereas

with soccor football you're not allowed to touch the ball at all, only the goal keepers are allowed to touch the ball and they use a round ball and their goals are only 1 point each goal and they arent allowed to touch the other players.

so I hope that helps you out  :)

  3. Well for starter AFL is sooooo much better... and the two cant really be compared at all.... if you ever in Australia go watch a game... it will be worth it

  4. Have a look at these sites...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_...

    http://afl.com.au/

As you should be able to see, the list of differences is so large that the two cannot be compared at all.

  5. ausie football is rugby, I think
