  1. Bullet Trains are ran with Electromagnets and regualr trians run on rails with Desil engines

  2. so many differences we cannot write it or tell it in a word

  3. "Bullet train" is a nickname for the Japanese "Shinkansen" ("New Trunk Line") trains, a literal translation of the Japanese "dangan ressha" (弾丸列車). They run at high speed - the first Shinkansen line was the Tokaido Shinkansen which opened in 1964 and allowed trains to run at 130 mph, but newer lines run at up to 188 mph, and special test runs were made in 1996 up to 275 mph. Unlike normal trains in Japan, the tracks on the Shinkansen lines are "standard gauge", i.e. the tracks are 4' 8.5" wide, the same as most tracks in Europe and North America, while the rest of the Japanese rail network is "narrow gauge" with tracks 1 metre (3' 3") apart, so they allow higher speeds.

Shinkansen trains and routes are engineered to be extremely safe and operate safely in earthquake zones - in the 44 years the system has operated, not one passenger has been killed in an accident. See the linked Wikipedia article for much more information.
