Whats the difference between frozen custard and ice cream?

i dont know. everybody is telling me to go to ted drews in st.louis but i dont know difference between frozen custard and ice cream.

Custard has eggs in it.

Technically, ice cream is frozen cream, milk, sugar and flavorings.  Frozen custard adds eggs to increase richness and stability.  Most store purchased ice cream is actually frozen custard.  And frequently, homemade ice cream is frozen custard as well.  Ted Drew's is really good frozen custard...go try some!
