  1. cyclone is sometimes referred to as a tornado or hurricane, depends on what part of the world you're on. A tropical storm is a pressure system that forms in hot climate and moves to somewhere else, this is a hurricane if it gets winds in access of 74mph around the eyewall. It swirls around in the water. Hurricanes have potential to have winds much much faster, Ikes wind's are at 145 mph. Storms are more of your average thunder & lightning storm.

  2. all are somewhat of the same origin

  3. they are all the same. storm is the general term.

a hurricane is a storm that originated from or nearest to the Atlantic Ocean. a cyclone is how the Aussies call it when a storm comes from the Indian Ocean. here in the Pacific, we call our storms typhoons.
