  1. i didnt get ur question but loose is better because u get to apply it better with a  brush..WHICH IS MORE SANITARY

see girls apply pressed powder with some nasty sponge thingy that carries bacteria!!! thats nasty and no wonder they have all those pimples

GO WITH LOOSE POWDER AND A MAKEUP BRUSH..no questions about it

  2. Pressed powder is a cake of face powder pressed into a mirrored compact with a puff or sponge. It usually has a matte finish on the skin, and is portable and convenient for touch-ups during the day if you have oily skin that needs blotting.

Loose powder has a consistency more like baby powder - soft, fine, and, well, loose. Most brands are packaged in a tin, plastic box, or shaker container with a screen over the powder so you can shake out a little at a time through the small holes in the screen. Unless you have a container that stays tightly closed, loose powder is not very portable. There is a benefit of loose over pressed, though - loose powder is softer and more natural looking on the skin. You can apply it with a powder brush or a puff depending on the finish you want.

  3. pressed  powder  you can put in your purse and use and comes with

a sponge.loose powder gives you more natural look and sometimes its

messy but it is worth it though.i like them both sooo yeah! or you can buy them both the same color and use the loose powder at home

and you can take the pressed powder and take it with you when you hang out and stuff see the difference.

  4. loose powder just gives a more natural look which you would use with a big dusting brush, just to brighten the face a little but pressed powder is so thick and clammy it's yuck and it get dirty!

  5. Pressed and loose powder is virtually the same.

You should use loose powder if you have oily skin since it will soak up some of the oil which will de-shine your face aswell. and a pressed if you have dry skin because it will add some moisture to your skin.

Other than that Loose powder is applied with a big fluffly brush to set your make up in the morning and the pressed powder is carried around in the make up bag for touch ups because it is more durable. This is applied with either a sponge or a brush.

BOTH brushes and sponges carry bacteria. The brushes usually are just thrown in the make up back where bacteria and dirt sit. While a sponge on the other hand usually comes with the powder and is put inside the powder case. The sponge is also replaced more often than a brush ( if you buy good brushes they will last a life time). ALL your make-up utensils should be cleaned to get rid of the bacteria and pro-long their use, and mainly to keep your skin and make-up cleaner and safe from harmful bacteria.

For best results apply it starting in the center of your face and blend outwards and make sure both powders are the same colour if you use both.

    I hope this helps you.

  6. ive always used pressed powder, i use it wth a brush and it doesnt look 'caked on' or whatever theyre saying, as long as you find the right colour and a good brush, or sponge (: then your fine. I do like loose powder but i always think its much more messy to apply. x

  7. Loose powder is usually applied with a large brush in a circular motion, giving a more natural effect also gives better over all coverage. It can be taken out in a shoulder/hand bag, you can buy special brushes that have a powder compartment in the handle.

Pressed or compact powder is heavier, it's a product that most elderly women wear.

    Good Luck. X :-)

  8. Pressed powder is much better for your handbag or when going out.

Loose powder applies more evenly, but is messy!
