The Navy is their taxi service.

The Navy have name tags on the back of their pants so the Marines know who their giving it to.

The Marines are part of the Department of the Navy. The Marines do their fighting on land, the sailors bring the Marines to the beach where they will fight their way ashore after the Navy has bombarded the c**p out of the beach.

The Navy generally supports the Marines with technical services and medical services where the Marines don't have the manpower.

The Marines are the Mens department  - the Navy is the Ladies Dept.

My point of view - the Marines can go and be he-men and the Navy will take care of the ladies !!!

We work together as one happy family, like any family we quarrel amongst ourselves - but if you start a fight in a bar full of Marines & Sailors and you're AF or USA - chances are the jar-heads and squids will be fighting along each other.

Overall the entire United States Military works fine as one big happy family.
