  1. In games like Blackjack, you will use what are considered "normal" sized cards. They're the same size as the Bicycle brand cards you'll pick up in any store.

When you play poker in a casino, you will actually use "Bridge" sized cards. They are a little narrower than the cards you're probably used to.

They are usually made of plastic, rather than paper. Since players touch the cards in poker, the cards need to be very durable.

They also need to be made of a material that won't bend, so dishonest players won't be tempted to "leave a mark" on some of them.

  2. What are you talking about?

I collect casino decks (I have over 40 from Vegas alone!!!) and casino cards can be used for poker so there really is no difference other than the poker cards can contain jokers.

  3. The last answer is correct. If you go down to your local Rite Aide and look at a deck of card that says poker they will not be as wide as a regular deck that is marked playing cards.

  4. There is no difference the same cards are used
