  1. If you get paid to fight you are a pro.

Amateurs don't get paid, usually have safer rules, no elbows,  sometimes they wear headgear, have 3-4 minute rounds.

You don't have to win amateur fights to go pro.

  2. Professionals won all the required amateur fights in order to become a professional. And professional fights is and should be more skilled compared to amateur fights. It's a pretty obvious difference if that's what you were asking for.

  3. The main two differences are that amateur fighters don't get paid for the fights, and that in most kinds of amateur fighting, they will wear more protective gear than the pro version of the sport.

  4. amateur fights require less medial check ups ( however some are still required), and u basically dont get paid for fighting, shorter rounds, and less of them, their will also probably be different weight classes, and you would wear, headgear, shin pads, and heavier gloves,

  5. If you get into an amateur fight you will get ur life back.

  6. An amateur fight you are not paid for and usually the rounds are shorter and there are fewer of them.  Usually limited to three rounds; rounds being two minutes in kickboxing.  Pro fights you are paid for and they can be three, five, even seven rounds or more and are longer, (three minutes in duration).  Many states now require you to have several amateur fights before you can apply for a pro license in boxing or kick-boxing.
