  1. Scuba (Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) allows you do descend to great depths.

Snorkling is done in about two to three feet of water (however long the snorkle is)

  2. In scuba diving you wear a tank and are fully submerged in the water. Snorkeling is where you wear the little mask with a hose that sticks out of the water so you can breathe.

  3. scuba diving you have a air tank and you "Dive". snorkeling you look at sea weed and shells on the edge of the beach

  4. when u snorkel u stay just below the water's surface and the waters are usually shallow as well. Scuba diving, u need gas tanks and all the other deep sea diving equipment and.. dive  ^^

  5. snorkeling you are on the surface and scuba diving you are underwater

  6. scuba divers have oxygen tanks, wet suits, air regulators and spend most of their time deep underwater, snorkelers on the other hand need only have a mask and snorkel and stay mainly on the surface of the water looking down. of course they can dive but only for as long as their lungs allow.

  7. Snorkeling requires your own lungs, a snorkel, and goggles...scuba diving requires a tank or two of air so you can stay submerged longer...

  8. In snorkeling, you don't have any artificial way of breathing, namely no air bottles. If you want to 'dive' while snorkeling, you'll have to take a deep breath and come back to the surface before you need oxygen.

Scuba diving requires some equipment which allows you to stay under water for a long time, giving you the possibility to dive deeper.

  9. snorkling is stay at the surface using the air above you

scuba is goin underneath the water with oxygen tanks

  10. Snokeling is done without artificial support. You have a small tube that allows you to breathe while you are on the surface of the water, but which closes when you go underwater. You can free-dive comfortably, using snorkel, to depths of around 30 feet. Then you have to come back up for air, unless you are VERY experienced.

Scuba  is quite different. The name scuba is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. You swim with an air tank strapped to your back, and with it you can stay underwater for about an hour, depending on the depth at which you are swimming and the amount of energy you are expending.

    Hope this answers your question?

  11. deep water in scuba diving  where in snorkeling your just wast deep or you never go under more than the snorkel will reach

  12. The equipment and depth.

Snorkeling you only need a snorkel (sic) and fins, for SCUBA diving you need underwater breathing equipment - SCUBA is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.

  13. Snorkeling uses a mouth snorkel and you swim on the surface with your face down. Scuba diving involves an air tank so you can stay deeply submerged for at least 30 minutes at a time.
