Whats the difference between standard dirtbike chains and o-ring chains?

  1. O-ring chains loose a small amount of power but in wet conditions they are better as the O-ring stops the mud getting in between the O-ring linkages which makes them more powerful.  They also wear longer. They don't stretch as much  as they don't wear in the joints and that makes them last longer.  Dust would not be able to get in as well.  They do cost more but will outlast a standard chain.

    Z-ring chains are also similar.


  2. o-rings last longer and they are good for wet muddy places

    use reg. for just dirt
