  1. Main differences:

    700BT - No voice control

    900BT - Voice control of the unit - nav, ipod, etc

    700 - 2.2 V pre-out

    900 - 4 V pre-amp

    That is all I can see.

The above answer is a little off.  the f700 does have voice control.  The big difference is the f700 is only a cd player and wont play dvd's.  Movies can still be loaded onto a SD card or  an iPod though.  I believe another difference is the 900 has 3d points of interest for navigation along with a MSN direct tuner and the 700 is only 2d with no MSN.  Checkout my source link for a comparison

  3. I have just installed the Pioneer AVIC-F700BT in my kids Civic.  Basically the difference is the F700BT does not have a DVD player and it does not have the MSN subscription feature, but otherwise all the same features.

    OBTW the ipod cable is a must have the F700BT downloads your play list into the unit so you can use voice commands to play you lists. This unit also downloads your phone book so it support voice calling commands.  so foar very impressed.
