Confuses me. What types of clothing should be washed in the hand-wash cycle and which types in the delicate cycle?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

  1. The hand wash cycle moves at the washer's slowest speeds and stops agitating periodically during the wash cycle. The delicate cycle moves at the washer's slowest speed during wash and rinse cycles, but doesn't stop agitating during the wash cycle.  The tags in the clothing should tell you what cycle to use. Any material that's very delicate or has lace, etc., on it should probably be hand wash cycle. I wash clothing with decorative items and bras, etc., on delicate.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

  2. Read the tag in the clothes. Who knows what the difference is but the clothes makers know the right setting.
