  1. A narrator is like one that tells a story (narrative). For instance, in plays or movies, the narrator is generally unseen, although not always, and he or she explains the story to the audience (:

A speaker is one who gives a speech to a person or group of persons. This is the main meaning of the word; sometimes people will use it to describe just a person speaking, but that's rare.

Also, a speaker is a technological device used to emit sound for music, movies, ect. Look it up for a full definition.

Speaker is commonly used with the adjective, "guest" (guest speaker), which implies that the person is not part of the main event that is taking place, but has volunteered to give a speech at the event. Such an event may be a party, a carnival, a talkshow, ect.

  2. Narrator tells a story...includes descriptive words...

A speaker generally has implication of simply dictating a speech...
