  1. the higher it goes the easier to hit.  2 wood is further than a 5 wood goes though


  2. The higher the number goes on the club, the shorter distance you can hit the ball with the club, and the more loft you get on the shot. Typically woods can be either from a tee on a drive where the fairway is too short for a driver, or off the ground once your ball has been hit, if you still have a ways to go to the green.

  3. 2 wood - Also known as a mini driver.

    3 wood - 14-15 degree loft (average)

    5 wood - 5-wood has an 18-19 degree loft (average)

    The 2 wood will go further then both 3 and 5 wood.

    3 wood will go longer than 5wood but not the 2wood.

    The 3wood and 5wood are more common than a 2wood
