Whats the differene between sm1 teasing you and complimenting you?

teasing you meaning joking and just playin around in a good way and

complimenting meaning giving good remarks.. Is it better if your crush complimts you more than teasing you? or is it the other way around?

they can both me as good as each other, the main thing is the intent behind it, there's absolutley nothing wrong with playful teasing, me and my partner do it all the time, because we like making each other smile with bad puns, tickle fights and the occasional crack about what we are wearing.

If they laugh at you and you feel bad it ain't a compliment, compliments make you feel good not bad.

A lot of times someone may think they're complimenting you, but it feels like teasing. I prefer my compliments when I'm absolutely sure, with no doubt on my mind, what they mean. I don't like teasing.
